Christian Midwives International was formed as an organization where Christian women who are in the birth field, whether they are just entering or have been there many years, can come together and learn.
It is a place where love for the Lord and fellowship abounds.

CMI is an organization made up of Christian Birth Professionals and those planning to be or in training to be Christian Birth professionals. Currently there is a yearly conference in the Midwest.
This year we have also plotted out regions so that soon you will have a regoinal representative to contact! We are acting as a referral service for women all over the world who are looking for midwives, doulas and childbirth educators.
We have a hard copy newsletter (The Tebah) and an email newsletter (The Scope).

This year we will be represented at the Midwifery Today conference.
Each year at our conferences we have raised money for missions including Mercy in Action and Native American / Reservation Mission work.
We are looking at helping how we can assist as missions start up all over the world!
